About Wag & Stay

 I’m Marty, owner of Wag & Stay, full-time dog boarder, and mum to Halle (human!) and Mack. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the years I’ve had experience with all sorts of breeds and personalities, and I know every dog is different.

I’m very hands on with every stay, whether that’s walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply making sure your dog feels safe, settled, and part of the family while they’re with us. My aim has always been to create the kind of home-from-home environment that I’d want for my own dog.

Although Mat works full-time from home, he’s a big part of Wag & Stay and is always around to help with the dogs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, garden time, or just giving out extra attention and cuddles, he loves having dogs around the house and getting involved in their care. 

Our little dog whisperer. Halle has grown up around dogs and absolutely loves having them around. She’s gentle, confident, and enjoys being part of the daily routine with all of our furry guests. 

Everyone loves a nanny, and the dogs are no different. Nanny Sue is especially popular with our older or quieter guests, who naturally seem to gravitate towards her calm nature and endless cuddles. Every morning without fail she’s in the kitchen making toast, and somehow the dogs always know exactly when it’s happening. Safe to say she’s very popular around here.
